The North Carolina Indian Senior Citizens Coalition Founded in 1980.
North Carolina Indian Senior Citizens Coalition Board of Directors consist of members from NC Tribes and Organizations as follow: Coharie Tribe, Eastern Band of Cherokee, Haliwa-Saponi Tribe, Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina, Meherrin Tribe,Ocaneechi Band of Saponi Nation, Sappony Tribe, Waccamaw-Siouan Tribe, Cumberland County Association, Guildford Native American Association, Metrolina Native American Association, Triangle Native American Society, Lumbee Regional Development Association. North Carolina Commission of Indian Affairs shall serve as the State Agency designee on the Board of Directors. This will be an ex-officio, non-voting member of the Board of Directors.
North Carolina Indian Senior Citizen Coalition is 501 c 3 non profit organization who's purpose is to bring together American Indian Senior Citizens.

Our Purpose
To present a conference agenda activities that will unite senior citizens, individuals and others together as resources. To continue to address the health, education, cultural, spiritual and economic needs of our people:Therefore resulting in specific strategies to implement a plan to correct needs and identified Objectives: To showcase and honor senior citizen men and women from the past to the present and their contribution to improve the quality of life for senior citizens of North Carolina to recognize and teach Indian history and contributions senior citizens have made to the State of North Carolina to address the social needs of senior citizens with the special emphasis on health disparities among Indian people.To showcase the handwork of American Indian senior citizens in the area of art.To motivate and encourage harmony among Indian citizens, communities and individuals.
